I finished my first Aly Martinez book May 31, 2014, Changing Course (Wrecked and Ruined #1) I’ve been hooked by this author’s writing style ever since making her a one-click author for me.
Singe is a story about forgiveness, overcoming obstacles and finding love.
With the heaviness of guilt weighing him down, Jude must figure out a way to be a survivor. He knows all too well that our choices have consequences and living with them can be hell. It is the memory of butterfly that haunts him.
Rhion has come to terms with her past, it is in the present, where the demons chase her. Living partly in her fantasy world while trying to adjust to her reality, she has never forgotten him.
I love Aly’s ability to make me laugh, gasp, and swoon all in the same paragraph. I don’t know of any other author who does that for me.
Another thing Aly is good at is the Plot Twist. I went back and reread some of my other reviews and found I commented about being surprised by the plot twist in nearly every review.
Leo James and Sarah! I loved these character from the Wrecked and Ruined series and I loved reading about them in this book. I felt like we were visiting long lost friends. I realize Aly has just introduced us to new friends, and I cannot wait to read the rest of the Guardian Protection men!
