Nothing ventured, nothing banged...

Ash
I still don't know how it happened. One minute I was arguing with my arrogant competitor--our usual trash-talk over who deserves the larger commission. But somehow I went from throwing down to kneeling down...
It can never happen again. I don't even like Braht. He's too slick. He's a manipulating mansplaining party boy in preppy clothes.
So why can't I get him out of my head?

Braht
There are two things I know without question. One: Ash and I are destined for each other. Two: never trust a man with a unibrow.
Ash is my missing my piece. She's the sweet cream to my gourmet espresso. And nothing gets me going faster than her contempt for me. They don't call her the Ashkicker for nothing.
Eventually I'll win her over...if my past doesn't ruin everything first.

I was provided a review copy; this did not influence my opinion of the book.

❝The kiss is pure sizzle. I fuse to Braht without stopping to think why I’d do such a thing. Again! But Braht can F*cking kiss. Like, ahhhhhhhh. My brain takes a short nap, but my ovaries stand up and whistle.❞

Reminiscent of the comedies I used to watch on tv in my youth, ‘Man Card’ was chock full of laugh-out-loud-bellyaching moments, it was entertaining and heartwarming!

I loved it because it was funny, sincere, funny, heartwarming, funny, sexy, funny and crazy good!

In ‘Man Hands’, Braht and Ashley were assigned to work together in selling Tom’s house. ‘Man Card’ starts right up with these two conniving and battling each other. Ash needs the sale, Braht wants the sale and both need and want each other. Though Ashley tries to fight it, the attraction between these two is electric. The sexual chemistry is off the charts hot made even more so when Braht is moved to work in the same office as Ashley. Office space isn’t the only thing they’re sharing; it is the sales, sex, and secrets that keep them both on their toes.

Braht is sumptuous. In ‘Man Hands’, he seemed a little … girly. But don’t be fooled, Braht is definitely, all. man! He’s deliciously alpha, hilariously cheeky and titillatingly sexy. But above all, he is astutely aware of what Ashley needs, and the speech he gave about what a man really is … had me swooning and crying at the same time. (see excerpt)

Ashley does her last name proud, Power. She is powerful and smart, and sassy. Which makes for great banter between her and Braht.

❝And if you call me honey bear in front of my parents, I will twist off your nuts and serve them to with gizzard gravy.❞

Bowen and Eby have created the perfect marriage. I don’t know what their formula is, what I do know is I pray these two authors do not stop writing together because this formula works!

If you want a book that is guaranteed to provide endless laughs and good times, and an excuse to not exercise, (Cause who needs exercise when you are laughing this much?) ‘Man Card’ is the book for you.
