KA does know how to write the perfect man. I love Benny!
This is the 32nd KA book that I have read! WOW! That’s a lot of hawt, alpha men! KA, hits us women where we love it the most, our desire, our longing, our lust, our need to be protected and our need to be wild and free. She did all of that with this book and with Benny Benito.
“Shoot that f****r again for takin’ the fight outta you.”“Can we not talk about that?”
“Drill him full of holes for takin’ the fight outta you.”
“We’ll get you fightin’ fit again, baby,”
As Frankie was fighting for her life, Benny was fighting for a life with her.
“We’re talkin’. You don’t like that, I don’t give a f**k. Seven years I been f****n’ up. Right now, that sh*t ends.”
I also love it when KA weaves a little suspense into her books. She always has me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, waiting to see what’s going to happen next.
I have to mention the cameo appearances made in this book. They made this feel like an extension of At Peace and I LOVED IT!
