New York Times bestselling author Emma Chase returns with a sweet and sexy standalone in the Royally Series.

Princess Lenora Celeste Beatrice Arabella Pembrook had an unusual childhood. She was raised to be a Queen—the first Queen of Wessco.

It’s a big deal.

When she’s crowned at just nineteen, the beautiful young monarch is prepared to rule. She’s charming, clever, confident and cunning.

What she isn’t… is married.

It’s her advising council’s first priority. It’s what Parliament is demanding, and what her people want.

Lenora has no desire to tie herself to a man—particularly one who only wants her for her crown. But compromises must be made and royals must do their duty.

Even Queens. Especially them.

Years ago, Edward Langdon Richard Dorian Rourke, walked away from his title and country. Now he’s an adventurer—climbing mountains, exploring jungles, going wherever he wants, when he wants—until family devotion brings him home.

And a sacred promise keeps him there.

To Edward, the haughty, guarded little Queen is intriguing, infuriating…and utterly captivating. Wanting her just might drive him mad—or become his greatest adventure.

**

Within the cold, stone walls of the royal palace—mistrust threatens, wills clash, and an undeniable, passionate love will change the future of the monarchy forever.

Every dynasty has a beginning. Every legend starts with a story.

This is theirs.

I was provided a review copy; this did not influence my opinion of the book.

❝Do not serve…Lenora. Rein. With an iron grip..and a velvet touch. Trust…only…yourself. And reign.❞

To say I was excited when this baby showed up on my Kindle is an understatement. I may have cried a bit, I may have laughed with glee, but I definitely made sure I put aside everything over the weekend to read ‘Royally Yours’.

A royal book you ask? YES. YEP. Absolutely. As an American, there’s something so magical about a royal family. Something so quaint and special that has me enamored with storylines that are about royals. Maybe it is all of the Disney books and movies I read and saw as a kid, but I can’t seem to get enough of stories about a royal love affair!

Upon the death of her father, Princess Lenora becomes Queen of Wessco — the first Queen of Wessco. Growing up, she was trained by her father, groomed to be the Queen. All her life, duty was all she’d known. Putting on the face of indifference, she learned long ago to go about her day not showing her feelings. To show strength. To be fierce. But when her advisors advise her to get married because she will be taken more seriously, Queen Lenora finds herself at a loss. While love was a foreign concept to her, she wanted it. And an arranged marriage would surely not bring the love she desired. When her best friend and top advisor, Thomas agreed to marry her, she figured at least she would be with someone she liked.

But fairy tales were meant for Queens, and circumstances do change. Her trusted friend and confidant was hiding a secret from her. One that would bring anguish and forever change the trajectory of her life. From the pain came the man of her dreams, the man of her childhood stories, Edward (Thomas’s brother) becomes her prince, her husband, her confidant. It is with him that she finds herself, finds love and passion.

❝Pure, primal male pride pulses through my veins. And I want to have her–conquer her–claim her and keep her.❞

Edward is content with being the man behind the scenes, with letting her light shine. Because when he has her all alone, her light only shines for him. He puts the sparkle in her eyes. His touch puts the glow to her skin. He loves the two sides of her, the one she shows her people, and the one that lets go only for him. He shows her that she’s enough. What she is doesn’t matter to him, it is WHO she is, that brings him to bow before his queen.

❝Making a life with you will be my greatest adventure, Lenora.❞

Gah! This book! It’s everything! Tender, sexy, emotional, funny … So. Dang. Good! Emma Chase never fails to entertain me! She is one hell of a storyteller!

About Emma Chase

By day, Emma Chase is a devoted wife and mother who resides in a small town in New Jersey. By night she is a keyboard crusader, toiling away the hours to bring her colorful characters and their endless antics to life. She has a long standing love/hate relationship with caffeine.

Emma is an avid reader. Before her children were born she was known to consume whole books in a single day. Writing has also always been a passion and with the 2013 release of her debut romantic comedy, Tangled, the ability to now call herself an author is nothing less than a dream come true.
