To Whom it May Concern,

It was easy to call us forbidden and harder to call us soulmates. Yet I believed we were both. Forbidden soulmates.

When I arrived to Edgewood, Wisconsin I didn’t plan to find him. I didn't plan to stumble into Joe's bar and have Daniel's music stir up my emotions. I had no clue that his voice would make my hurts forget their own sorrow. I had no idea that my happiness would remember its own bliss.

When I started senior year at my new school, I wasn’t prepared to call him Mr. Daniels, but sometimes life happens at the wrong time for all the right reasons.

Our love story wasn’t only about the physical connection.

It was about family. It was about loss. It was about being alive. It was silly. It was painful. It was mourning. It was laughter.

It was ours.

And for those reasons alone, I would never apologize for loving Mr. Daniels.

Review Loving Mr. Daniels

Before her, I never knew life. After her, I’d never know death.

‘Loving Mr. Daniels’ was an emotional read. It was both depressing and uplifting. Brittainy Cherry knows how to not just tug, but yank at your heartstrings. With this forbidden love story, Cherry throws you right into the pain and grieving and heartache.

I cried buckets of tears. But I also laughed and swooned. I experienced many emotions.

Loving Mr. Daniels

Ashlyn Jennings is reeling from death and rejection. Barely holding herself up, she is forced to move in with her estranged father. She’s angry, she’s sad, she’s terrified.

Daniel Daniels is barely coming to terms with death and tragedy of his own. Forcing himself into his work and his band seems the only way he can cope.

A chance encounter on the train leads to them meeting at one of his shows. Their connection was based on shared pain and understanding. Both hope to continue getting to know each other. What they didn’t count on was that He would be her teacher at her new school. They are only a few years apart, and had she not been sick as a child, she would have graduated already.

I’d Fallen in love with the right guy at the wrong time.

Mr. Daniels 2

I was cheering for this couple, I wanted them to find loopholes and have secret encounters. I needed them to have their HEA.

One thing that Brittainy Cherry does so well is infused her books with authentic situations and feelings. I highlighted the majority of ‘Loving Mr. Daniels’. Her quotes are beautiful, and inner monologue stunning. You can’t put one of her books down without having an “ah-ha moment” or shedding a tear, or 1,000.

Loving Mr. Daniels 3

You will fall in love with the characters in ‘Loving Mr. Daniels’. I felt like I personally knew each and everyone by the time I finished reading. However, they have massive issues and at times it was overwhelming. Just as one problem, feeling, issue, was “settled” or adjusted to, another was brought up, straddling the OTT line.

Brittainy Cherry is massively talented. She knows how to write angst, love stories, characters and engaging plots. After reading her books, I am always intrigued, always emotionally spent and always feel like I have gained a little knowledge about life. I am a huge fan!
