A brand-new Spiral of Bliss novella about Liv and Dean West's journey to parenthood....
Arrive takes place towards the end of Awaken, when Liv is still pregnant with Nicholas. Liv and Allie have opened the Wonderland Café and Dean has successfully reestablished his career.
I am so glad to be visiting Mirror Lake again with ‘Arrive’. I have missed Liv and Dean. Theirs was the first novel I read about a married couple where real life was the cause of their problems. This series is refreshing and beautiful written.
❝A brilliant, golden streamer of love and hope unfurls, hugging us both in a warm, protective embrace.❞
Dean and Liv are having a baby! In this novella, we see Liv toward the end of her pregnancy. For those of you who have had children, you might remember the joys of that time? HA! All the fears, all the excitement, the strange pains, food cravings? Liv and Dean experience them all. The worries about getting too fat and not being attractive anymore in the eyes of your husband? Yeah, Nina Lane portrays this time perfectly and beautifully!
❝If there were a time-travel portal,❞ Dean murmurs against my lips, ❝I’d travel back to the day we met so I could see you for the first time all over again.❞
Oh Dean, how I love thee, let me count the freaking ways! He is the ultimate BH! He is full of love for Liv and will do anything to keep her happy, healthy and safe. And as any good professor, he dives head first into learning all about pregnancy and birth!
❝There’s no final exam at the end of this,❞ I whisper
He looks at me over the tops of his reading glasses. ❝You’re kidding, right?❞
❝What? There IS an exam? Mary didn’t say anything about that. Is it multiple choice? True or false? Omigod, is it an ESSAY test?❞
❝Liv.❞ Dean takes off his glasses. ❝BIRTH is the final exam.❞
I can’t wait to read Adore.
I didn’t know this existed. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Stacey, if you love books or the idea of books, about a couple who face problems in their marriage due to outside circumstances, then I think you would really like this series. It is one of my all-time faves!
I’ve read the series, just didn’t know about the novella. Thanks love 🙂
AH! okay. So glad to hear that 🙂
