They say it takes 21 days to form a habit.
They lie.
For 21 days she held on.
But on Day 22, she would have given anything for the sweet slumber of death.
Because on Day 22, she realizes that her only way out means certain death for one of the two men she loves.A haunting tale of passion, loss, and redemption, The Paper Swan is a darkly intense yet heartwarming love story, textured with grit, intrigue, and suspense. Please note: This is NOT a love triangle.
A full-length, standalone novel, intended for mature audiences due to violence, sex and language. Subject matter may be disturbing for some readers.
❝We are a question that hasn’t been answered yet, a hiding place that hasn’t been found yet, a battle that hasn’t been fought yet. ❞
A story of love, hate, revenge, redemption, guilt, and forgiveness; ‘The Paper Swan’ is raw and gritty and packs emotional punches that hit over and over again.
I don’t know what I expected when I started ‘The Paper Swan’, but this wasn’t it. I know I expected a romance, and I can say there was a love story within the pages of this beautifully written book. It was suspenseful and gritty and dark. But also heart-wrenching and humorous. I felt it all. I wept for Estebandido, MaMaLu, and Skye. I laughed with them, too. I was angry at them and for them — for what happened to them and the decisions they made as a result. I fell in love with them despite their flaws. These characters wormed their way into my head and heart.
This is a book that is best read without any knowledge of the plot. I am glad I had no idea what I was getting into when I read it because I would have missed out on letting the author reveal all the layers as she intended.
I highly recommend this to lovers of lost souls, dark reads, love stories.
❝Once you’ve been loved by a man like Damian, once you’ve been branded and molded in the fires of that possession, you will never be moved by tepid, imposter kisses. ❞

This one was an overwhelming read for me but didn’t work so well but I’m glad to see that it was better for you 😉
Awe, sorry to hear that. What they say is true about books, “what works for one may not work for another”. I loved the darkness and “action” part of it. I would love to see it made into a movie. 😉
I loved this book! Your review is excellent, too. 🙂
YAY, so glad you loved it! Thanks hon! <3
